Still Life
During the lockdown of 2020 I rediscovered my love for still life photography. It’s quite a different approach compared to landscape work. You have complete control of all the elements in the composition and also the lighting. I often use natural light from a window with a white reflector to lift the shadows but have also experimented with using a torch and long exposures. The shadow screen photographs have a tissue paper screen, lit from behind, with objects casting shadows.
